at la casa verde we are making every possible effort to be an ECO tourist operator. we are minimising impact, building environmental and cultural awareness & respect, working with and bringing income into the local community, conserving our land and spreading the word about ECO living. being ECO and having ECO accommodation is an ongoing process so la casa verde won’t ever be a finished project – we’ll keep looking for new and different ways to keep our environmental footprint to a minimum.

we are preparing for our eco certification to show we are not just labelling ourselves as ECO – we are doing our best to live, laugh and play this way too.

the friendly folk at the black sheep inn have defined ECO tourism under 5 headings. at la casa verde, we believe these are excellent definitions and we do what we can to make sure we operate like this.
